Start with the fibre, then verify the fabric.
Explore Peruvian cotton and alpaca as material directions, with final specifications confirmed at fabric level.
Discuss material options
Yarn detail
A fibre name is only the starting point.
Peru is associated with Pima and Tanguis cotton as well as alpaca fibre. We use the garment brief to narrow the appropriate yarn, blend and fabric construction rather than treating a fibre name as a finished-product specification.
Pima and Tanguis can be considered for cotton programs, while alpaca can be explored for knitwear and blended applications. Availability, origin, composition, weight, color and test requirements must be confirmed for the selected material.
Performance and responsibility claims need evidence for the selected material and finished product. We do not make universal promises about wash temperature, hypoallergenic properties or sustainability.
Material directions
Specify what must be proven.
Ask for the composition, origin, weight, color, construction and test evidence that matter to the product. Final claims should follow the actual material and result.
- 01
Pima cotton
A Peruvian cotton direction to evaluate through the selected yarn and finished fabric specification.
- 02
Tanguis cotton
Another Peruvian cotton direction, considered according to garment, construction and supplier availability.
- 03
Alpaca
A fibre direction for knitwear and blends, subject to composition, origin and traceability requirements.
Claims need context
Does the site promise that these materials are hypoallergenic?
No. We do not make a universal hypoallergenic claim. Any performance statement must be supported for the selected finished material and product.
Does the site make a sustainability claim?
No blanket sustainability claim is made. Origin, processing, certifications and traceability would need specific evidence.
How should material claims be handled?
Match each claim to the selected material, test method, origin and documentation. A fibre name by itself does not establish finished-product performance.
